If you are a Nurse Practitioner, NP student, or other licensed advanced practice nurse, such as a midwife, and are considering joining our group, but not sure what to expect, we invite you to come to our next monthly dinner meeting (see below).  Just RSVP and show up... doesn't cost you a thing!

After you become a CANAP member (see below on how to become a member)  you will be eligible to register for the hidden members-only menu on this website that gives access to our discussion forum, job listings, members directory, and  bylaws.
To register for this members only 'free' account on this site 1) click on the LOG IN/ OUT menu (do not fill in).  2)select register option at the bottom of the login page.  3) Fill in information (remember for future use) and press register.  After we have verified you are already a member we can approve your website registration and you will get a message back that you are registered.  Each time after that when you want to view the members menu simply: click on the LOG IN menu button fill in user name and password and click login.

How To Become A Member (or Renew membership)

Membership in CANAP is on an annual basis from January 1 to December 31 and requires that you submit our official electronic application form and pay annual dues (renewing  members deadline is January 31; to prevent  being  dropped from membership please make the deadline).  

Membership Dues:

  • $50.00/year - Advance Practice Nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • $25.00/year - Students and Retirees

Payment options:

  • On-line via PayPal (if you want to pay using your credit card, you don't  have to create a PayPal account, just enter the amount in the PayPal box at the bottom of the lefthand column of this website, click the GO! button, then follow the directions for paying via credit card on PayPal's website).
     
  • A check made out to "CANAP" and delivered in person at our next monthly dinner meeting or mail a check to:

Membership entitles you to attend our monthly dinner meetings with special guest speakers and access to members-only content on the CANAP.ORG website, such as employment  listings and our member’s directory. There’s even a scholarship for two students per year. Full Members have business voting rights.

Full members are active or retired Nurse Practitioners and other Advanced Practice Nurses (such as Midwife, CRNA, CNS) and students in an APN program.  Associate members are other health care providers with Masters degree or higher (such as a professor).
