Display and Page Scrolling Problems |
|
If you are seeing pages that appear to extend beyond the bottom of your screen, but your browser does not allow you to scroll down to see that information, then you need to upgrade your web browser, because it does not comply with website coding standards!
- If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer, then go to microsoft.com and download and install the current upgrade for Internet Explorer.
- However, we highly recommend that you install a browser that's more standards compliant instead, such as Firefox, available from mozilla.org.
Also, please increase your computer monitor resolution to at least 1024 x 768 or 1280 x 1024! Do so using your Control Panel Display Properties. With the demise of heavy and bulky CRT (tube) type monitors (no one really sells them any more) in favor of the lighter and energy efficient flat panel LCD's, you will gain more "screen realestate" by changing from the ancient low resolution of 800 x 600 to the highest your monitor can support. This will eliminate the dreaded horizonal scroll bar on most websites, including this one, and give you more vertical reading space.
